Uefa put 10,500 tickets for the upcoming champion’s league final in Moscow on 21st may on its own website. The tickets were put on the website for the purpose of public sale. Last year the final was held in Athens and the event faced many unpleasant incidents as many Liverpool fans arrived at the match without tickets owing to the clash with the Italians in AC Milan. But this time Uefa has made other arrangements. It has decided to allocate each club with 21,000 tickets, provided the clubs are competing in the final in May. The Uefa spokes person William Gaillard told the BBC that this time 75% of the tickets will go to the fans whereas last time the figure was 65%.
Uefa also explained that it is very impractical that all the people will go to the matches of the two concerned clubs. So the Uefa has decided to make tickets available to all the fans throughout Europe and also to the local fans of Moscow. And according to the Uefa spokesperson there will be many people who will be willing to see such a prestigious match irrespective of the club and team barriers.
The match is going to be held in the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow and the stadium will have a capacity of about 75,000 seats. There will be some exceptions as not many countries have such stadiums. But the Uefa explains that even if the stadium was able to cater to 150,000 people the requirement would not have been met.

This must have been a very disappointing start for Nigel Pearson as his team lost by two goals in a match against Plymouth. The action took place at St. Mary’s. This was their first victory to the saints in 34 years. In the initial half of the game, Southampton displayed some talent but eventually went down after 31 minutes when Halmosi converted a pass from Nalis. Plymouths definitely have a reason to enjoy and celebrate.
The second half saw Southampton losing on all corners and some how lacked the required energy, thus giving themselves to the Plymouth. Things really went out of hand when Paterson scored a long range goal of just two minutes after Halmosi made it through Kelvin Davis to post in the goal. Paterson had joined the club in January and this was his first Pilgrims goal. This particular match saw the lowest ever Saints fans and they showed their concern as Davis managed to make a tremendous save from Jermaine Easter. Had Jermaine landed that goal they would have leaded the game by three goals.
The defeat would have been more humiliating for Nigel Pearson and would have been a better win for the Plymouth. Southampton however tried to make a comeback in the game but their steam didn’t last long and Plymouth had already secured their win. Perhaps, Pearson should concentrate more on the team rather than thinking over his defeat to Plymouth. The fans themselves are quite concerned about the team’s current situation.

Chesterfield will be getting in two loaned out players from Sunderland for their match against Brentford. The match will be played this weekend. The players to be loaned are Peter Hartley and David Dowson. This striker and defender duo is 19 years of age and will be out on a ‘one month loan’.
Lee Richardson must be quite happy with Roy Keane for loaning out these players to him. Bringing these two into the team will definitely bring up the competition amongst the players. The team may also improve because of this move made by Lee Richardson.
Apart from these two players he is also looking at adding a strong centre back to his team. Though Lee is quite strong on getting himself a good man but to bring in improvement for the League Two team will be quite difficult as well as frustrating for him.
Lee is tying to get all the strong players that he can but this is going to be a tough task for the manager. The main problem is that every player wants to play for the best team at that level or the highest level possible. It is going to be very difficult for him to get in better players just to improve his own team.
On the other hand Lee knows that it will take time for him to get the right players and he cannot decide upon the availability of these players. So the only thing that he can do is wait and strike at the right moment.
