Four for ‘Player of the Round’ Award

Nominations for the player of the round award have already been completed. This award is for the player who has displayed an outstanding performance in the fifth round of the game. Four players have been nominated for the award.
Goal keeper for Portsmouth – David James, Wayne Rooney – striker for Manchester United, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – Cardiff and Barnsleys goal keeper – Luke Steele. All these players have been nominated for this award. All the fans who want to vote for the favorite players can vote through the Football Association website.
Eight players have already been selected from the previous rounds. Two more will be selected from the rounds which will soon be held. The winner of this round will add on to these winners. All the players who will win will be added on to enter the ‘Team of the FA Cup’. These players will be chosen for the year 2007/2008.
VIP Tickets for the 2008 FA Cup Final will also be distributed. The final match will be held at Wembley on 17 May 2008. All the 11 winners will be given football equipment which is worth 500 pounds and a trophy.
The team of the FA cup that has been chosen so far includes Matt Townley, Jack Pitcher, Andy Forbes, Stuart Beavon, Craig Farrel, Craig Mackail-Smith, Alfie Potter and Michael Mifsud. Two more will enter this particular team after this rounds award. The fans are quite excited about this award and are waiting to see what the team is going to be like.
