Death Threats for Avram Grant

A staff member found a note which was addressed to the Chelsea boss Avram Grant. The letter had anti Jewish insults as the main text. The letter even had some white powder in it which was supposed to be lethal. The information regarding the white powder was written in the letter itself.
‘When you open this letter you will die a very slow and painful death’ was just a small part of the text which the threat letter contained. This information was given by police sources. But the powder threat was later analyzed and it was found that it had no harmful effects.
Tzofit who is one of the most famous personalities in Israel is the manager’s wife. Her name was also mentioned in the letter. Apart from the manager even the manager’s wife was in danger. The box was delivered at the clubs training ground in Cobham. The clubs training ground was sealed by the police when the club had informed them about a suspicious box. Efforts are still being made in respect to the source of the letter.
However, Chelsea has informed every one that all measures that are required to be taken for such matter have been put into action. Apart from the police a lot of other agencies have been alerted. The threat letter incident is still being investigated. No other information was released by the police regarding the letter. The main reason behind the threat is still to be found.
