The news is all over the world that Kevin Keegan is back and there can’t be bigger news for the Toons. It’s sure that Keegan’s presence would be felt and his impact would be very helpful for Newcastle but this also has created a pressure on the manager. Keegan’s return would be proved in the match against Bolton this Saturday. The Magpies would be playing in a different mood altogether as they have an idea about who would be backing them on the field.
It has been pretty easy for the press as well as the public to say that the good times are here again for the Toons as Keegan is back. But in reality it’s not that easy as Kevin Keegan is aware of the big situation he is facing and that is that the team is out of form and still has to get out of the big loss they suffered by the hands of the Red Devils.
This Saturday all eyes would be on Keegan as to what line up he would playing in the starting and what new strategies he would be adopting. Newcastle has lost last four consecutive English Premier League matches. And the defensive game they have displayed is not something to cheer about. On the other hand, Keegan has been an attacking player himself and believes in an attacking game. So, this comeback is bigger than what has been perceived. But a lot has been said and its time to prove all those words.
