Stephen Craigan Trusting Mark’s leadership

Stephen Craigan, the defender of Motherwell football club says that the players are looking to Mark McGhee the manager to help them cope with the death of Phil O’Donnell the captain of the club. Phil O’Donnell the 35 year old died this Saturday after collapsing during the SPL match that was played against Dundee United at Fir Park. Stephen Craigan told the BBC Scotland that the team would look to Mark McGhee for guidance during the forth coming weeks. Stephen Craigan said that they are looking for some inspiration and direction and they trust the manager to declare what would be best. The next match of Motherwell that is against Hibernian on 2nd of January has been however postponed as they have next fixture against Celtic football club the next Sunday.
Stephen Craigan said that the team is still unsure how long it would take to recover from the death of Phil O’Donnell. He said that they don’t know as it would take a week or even a month as they have never been in such a situation. He continued that it is a very testing time for Mark McGhee as he is the manager of the club and the team would follow what he says and according to him, he is a good manager for the club. He also said that the award had went back to Fir Park on Sunday in order to pay respect. The manager said that the players are very upset regarding the death of Phil O’Donnell.
